Mahatma Gandhi was a great man. He made india free. He was born on 2 October, 1869 at porbandar. His father was a Divan at Rajkot.He was not a brilliant student. He went to England. He passed the Bar-at-law examination. He became the barrister. He went to South Africa. He raised his voice against the government. He became the leader. He came back India in 1905. He fought against the British government. India became free on 15th August 1947. He was shot dead on 30 January, 1948.
